Ag Expo

Another wonderful start to the Ag Expo. The kids are often excited about my work. While I sew at home, I go to four craft shows/events a year. Today was no different. They went with me to set up at the fairgrounds because there was a two hour delay. They enjoyed cinnamon rolls at the hospitality room and fidgeted until Tawna picked them up to take them to school (many many thanks).
Conner didn't have school, so he stayed with me. He started out coloring at my booth very nicely, then... da da da dummmmm. The "Tuttle-man" showed up. Steve Tuttle is a good friend of Pop-pop's who is willing to put up with anything and everything my kids dish out. Conner has a special connection with the Tuttle-man. Conner quickly made his most endearing expression and was whisked away on a day trip of driving golf carts and begging other vendors for freebies. Later he came back sporting a give away bag, back scratcher, t-shirt, numerous sticks of chalk and more popcorn than one five year old boy could eat.
Here is a picture of him at the booth before his hero came to rescue him:

Steve picked the rest up from school and dropped them off at the gate of the fairgrounds where their Fairy Grandmother (Oh-My) took them to get Sprite and peanuts.
Life is rough all over!
