Treasure Hunt

We had a treasure hunt today! I had the kids dig holes and I put in all sorts of "treasure". We covered them up and went to the library and then had lunch. FINALLY! I let them dig it up. IT was harder than they expected and more fun. I'd estimate we only found half of it!

Happy Fourth of July

Okay, so it isn't on time, but I was too busy celebrating to write it then! We had all sorts of fun and then I got to light some major fireworks. Our neck of the woods allows for us to purchase and set off our own displays. I love an item called an artillery shell. It has a launch tube! It throws a firework into the sky with a big WHOMP and then it burst into a big circle of lights. Much like the commercial displays you see. This year I learned that if you load an artillery shell upside down, the launch tube explodes. And your audience runs screaming in terror as the shell then explodes into color, on the ground. BUT it wasn't me that set the trash barrel on fire, this year. It was the kids with sparklers! Enjoy!

So Loved by God..._

Our dear Katie, our four year old Frog Princess passed away to Heaven this past Sunday, at her home in Clovis. She was surrounded by her family and their love.
We met Katie's family at Trade Days where we were able to be Dress Angels and provide Katie with the dress of her dreams.
We cannot know why Katie had such a short life. Our only thought is that she is so loved by God, He couldn't bear another moment without her. So, little Beloved, we will miss you and love you always.
To your family, may they know peace and have faith that you have a cherished spot in Heaven.
